I creep in the cat flap, I hear something. Footsteps I think. They’re getting louder and louder. Suddenly the footsteps stop. I walk into the house a bit more and surry to a chair. The footsteps start again, Ihold my breath. I feel the thumps on the floor. THUMP THUMP!! The person is walking around the corner to where I am. I think the person can see my tail. By the way I’m a monkey. I hear a scream. Yup shes seen my tail. “ouch, ouch”. Shes hitting mee with something and it really hurts. I climb out from undernaeth the chair. “ahhhhhhhhhhhh”, screams the lady! Woah little lady watch it, yuo could’ve really hurt me that time. I run left then right looking behind me to whats going to happen next. I run into a room, BANG she hits me again. I’m not quick enough. I swerve and swerve, I stop, I turn around and shout, I’m only here to get something to eat. I see some chips and I bounce up onto the table. I grab the chips but the lady sees me. BANG she hits me a third time. I better make a run for it, I can see the door, I shout! I sprint to the door screaming HOORAY and like the speed of light i’m out of that dump. That was my day. ” oh drats he got away, bellowed the lady”!

Young leaders days was a incredible experience for me. There were about 3000 kid their or[young leaders.] I listened to lots of  speakers like Nike Tuitasi, Mike Chunn some netballers and mark Inglis. Mark Inglis was my favorite speaker because he was the first person to ever to climb MT Everest with artificial legs. He had artificial legs because he was stuck in a cave at MT Cook for 14 days. HE got frostbites on his legs so he had to chop them off!! He had to me to Never Give up, focus on your dreams and don’t let anyone get in your ways. BY ETHAN KING[school councilor]

Once apon a time long, long, ago, in a castle far from here, lives a rich little girl. Well that’s what I wish I could say, this is the truth: Once apon a time not so long ago, in a cottage not to far from here, lives a not so little girl called Bethy. I live with my kind aunty Sandra. She works at a run down old restraunt call Pekkies as a cook, she doesn’t get payed much and sometimes struggles to put food on the table, literally. She trys to spoil me but does not get far because as I said, we are not rich.

One day a circus came to town, and needed some employees, so Sandra sighned up as she didn’t like her job. Funilly enough she got the job and we went touring. One day there was a fire in the circus tent and the busines shut down and ever one was rourced to quit.

That is why my story ends in Not So Happily Ever After.

Young leaders day was a great experience I learned more in that one day then I did in a week. I learned virtually all there is to know about following in leaders foot steps and to be an excellent young leader. I met some very inspiring  leaders as well as some very famous people this included Nick Tuitasi, Mike Chunn,Temerpara George and my personal favorite Mark Inglis he inspired me to be the best that I can be and never give up. To me he is a great leader because he managed to climb Mount Everest wait…. with artificial legs!! He never stopped and never gave up he is a great leader.

All around me ,i can see

horrific pollution slyly conquering the world,

Misty mountains relaxing hapilly ,

rough sea storming outragously ,

Bubbly colours sourounding us cleverly ,
Loyal friends chatting casually ,

Noises fulling the world laughter ,
Mysterious moon staring at us discretly ,

Exotic food destroying our taste buds ,
Midget insects crawling through the dirt,

Dependable family loving us dearly,

Gigantic buildings touching the sky,

Beautiful flowers starring at us with lovely faces,

Kid in schools concentrating intensely,

And that is what i see all around me

All around me my curious eyes see…

Wacky animals running happily,

Terrific people laughing enthusiastically,

Vicious birds travelling casually,

Misty mountains smashing professionally,

Radiant friends spying carefully,

Calm family power-walking seriously,

Powerful sun shining outrageously,

Loyal insects strolling gloomily,

Shiny sea relaxing steadily,

Horrific darkness spying casually

A calm majestic sea ready for me.

A quiet young baby sleeping peacfully.

plastic floating in the deep blue see.

A majestic moon slyly spying over me.

Plastic killing people ever so slowly.

Weird nature blooming outrageously across the land.

The calm sea air traveling casually.

Breathtaking animals swaying gloomily.

Bubbly rivers smashing rocks enthusiastically.

Colorful vines creeping slyly up the trees.

Misty water flowing gracefully down the playful stream.

Bouncy kids happily playing on the lush green grass.

The birds flying high their wings spreading out like a plane. They steadily scan the sky.

Calm animals grazing sleepily in the meadows.

All around me my gloomy eyes can see,

Loyal laughing friends with happy families,

bubbly parents cheering happily around,

Shyly stars in misty nature sleeping soft and sound,

Relaxing noises steadily swaying in the stunning night,

Vicious seas stunningly destroying all that`s in sight ,

Life jumping carefully with weird stunning seas,

Movement with insects swaying with the trees,

Majestic colours playing proffesionaly in the sky,

Natures birds flying high while travelling by,

Now you can see what i can see with bubbly smashing life…
